The Media Producing Program was created by Mr. DuJuan A. McCoy and was inspired by his participation in the National Association of Broadcasters Broadcast Leadership Program with the vision to introduce teach more qualified individuals how to produce news at local TV stations because currently there is no known curriculum in any college in America that provides this practical training. Most news producers learn on-the-job. MPP prepares candidates in structured 12-week curriculum at the WISH TV studios for a living wage job prior to gaining the position.
